Cool temperature in the low 60's at run time Saturday morning in Asbury Park . Welcomed change after so many hot days.
There were over 1,000 participants. The club had 23 registered, some are in attached pic.
The George Sheehan 5K Classic run/walk is named in honor of Dr. Geroge Sheehan of Red Bank, he was an avid runner for years. Dr. Sheehan dedicated his professional life in helping other fellow runner-walker and wrote books on its benefits.
